The questions contained on this page were submitted through this website by Penn Medicine employees. Thank you to everyone who took the time to share your concerns and interest in this issue. We hope the questions and responses below help employees make an informed decision. We will continue to respond to questions and post answers here in the coming weeks.
We created this website because there is a lot of conflicting and incorrect information being shared with employees from many sources. We felt it was important to ensure all PMAH employees have access to factual information in order to make an informed decision about union representation. The investment in the website gives us the flexibility to better engage with all of our teams, reinforces our commitment to transparency, and promotes dialogue between leadership and all of you. All of the information on the website has been created and reviewed by subject matter experts. This is important to us because we want to make sure you have access to accurate information regarding unionization.
The union is asking for the right to speak for you in the workplace. This would make them your representative on topics that include wages, hours, benefits and other terms and conditions of employment.
We encourage you to review the information on this website and talk with your manager if you have any questions.
We are unable to speak for PASNAP and what they may, or may not, do.
It is not clear how this activity started. We believe our current working relationship is best for you and our patients.
